What is video therapy?
Online, video therapy is therapy offered through an encrypted service. This type of therapy offers remote communication, so if you have a busy schedule, you have many responsibilities, you cannot make it in-person, or are concerned about meeting in-person, video therapy may be the right fit for you.
This type of therapy requires a stable internet connection and use of a web-camera. Video therapy allows for a visual experience and connection between me and the client. While video therapy is accessible and flexible, it may not be the right fit for everyone. This is something we can talk more about during our consultation.
Grief Workshops
These grief workshops offer gentle education about the grief process and the many ways loss can be experienced. Participants are supported in understanding common grief responses while learning compassionate tools to care for themselves through loss. Length of these workshops vary and can be done in person in Winnipeg, or virtual.
One Time Sessions
Sometimes, we may feel a little stuck and need to talk about a specific issue. I offer one time sessions from a solution-focused, strengths-based approach to help you through this issue. These sessions run 75 minutes in length.
Ongoing Sessions
I offer collaborative goal-oriented sessions that typically run 50 minutes in length. The amount of sessions and frequency of sessions can be discussed together.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to me and the service I use, Noustalk has an encrypted connection and are both PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) compliant.
Cost and Fees
I strive to create accessible services and that is why I offer a free 15 minute consultation over the phone. For one time Sessions, I charge $150 for 75 minutes. For ongoing sessions, I offer 50 minute sessions for $130 and a sliding-scale rate of $100. For workshops, the fee varies, please reach out to inquire.
I am covered by most insurance companies as an RSW. Contact your insurance company for more details and clarification. I am registered in both Ontario and Manitoba, and can see folks who reside there.
